Meet our Directors

Krista Campbell

DIRECTOR
Krista has been the Director at Crozet Avenue since the day it launched! She is passionate about dedicating her time to help children grow, and she has a love for watching children learn, play and explore life in all aspects. Krista earned her post-baccalaureate teacher licensure degree from Mary Baldwin University and then taught Kindergarten in nearby Nelson County for seven years. Krista owned and operated an in-home daycare for over five years, and also spent time as a lead teacher at the former Kingswood Christian Preschool.
In her free time, Krista enjoys having fun with her husband, Brandon, and their two daughters, Olivia and Chloe. She also loves being outdoors, reading, taking walks, and hanging with extended family and friends.
Debbie Green

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Debbie loves working with young children and has worked in Early Childhood Education for over twenty-five years. As a past director and administrator for Albemarle County Extended Day Enrichment Programs, she finds the field of Early Childhood Education very rewarding. Debbie loves teaching children and seeing their eyes light up when they discover something new.
Debbie has been our Assistant Director and one of our Pre-K teachers since day one! In her free time, Debbie loves spending time with family and friends, decorating, shopping and the beach.
